AT91SAM9263-EK and SAM-BA 2.9

Tue Jul 07, 2009 7:35 pm

I've been trying to get SAM-BA to recognize the processor on the AT91SAM9263-EK with no joy ("No valid processor ID found"). It recognizes the J-LINK connection through USB (\jlink\ARM0), though. Has anyone run into this problem?

Hello,

did you manage to solve your problem?

I am running to the same problem with two boards, the AT91SAM9261-EK and the newer AT91SAM10G-EK. I had only one or two random successes to flash, but then dozens of failures. I have been installing and reinstalling different SAM-BA versions and two different SEGGER versions with no success. I used to be happier with the AT91SAM9261-EK and SAM-BA 2.6 (seems to be the last good version). Now that I have the new processor, my life with SAM-BA has turned to a nightmare.

Regards.

I can verify that this is true. I rolled back to SAM-BA v2.8 (AT91-ISP v1.12) and everything works. I never did find a way to use SAM-BA v2.9 (AT91-ISP v1.13) successfully.
