debug problems using arm-usb-ocd, eclipse on at91sam9263ek

Hello together!

Has someone experience with setting up a running debug environment for at91sam9263ek using arm-usb-ocd from olimex and eclipse? I tried a lot so far, read many different config-files for openocd. The result is the following one:

Code: Select all

#daemon configuration
telnet_port 4444
gdb_port 3333

# tell gdb our flash memory map
# and enable flash programming
# gdb_memory_map enable
gdb_flash_program enable

interface ft2232

ft2232_device_desc "Olimex OpenOCD JTAG A"
ft2232_layout "olimex-jtag"
ft2232_vid_pid 0x0403 0xcff8
jtag_speed 1

#use combined on interfaces or targets that can't set TRST/SRST separately
reset_config trst_and_srst
#jtag scan chain
#format L IRC IRCM IDCODE (Length, IR Capture, IR Capture Mask, IDCODE)
jtag_device 4 0x1 0xf 0xe
#target configuration
daemon_startup reset
#target <type> <startup mode>
#target arm7tdmi <reset mode> <chainpos> <endianness> <variant>
target arm926ejs little run_and_halt 0 arm926ejs
run_and_halt_time 0 30

working_area 0 0x2000C000 0x100 nobackup
OpenOCD starts up correclty - so far as I can see. When I start the arm-elf-debugger in eclipse using the following srcipt

Code: Select all

target remote localhost:3333
monitor reset
monitor sleep 500
monitor poll
monitor soft_reset_halt
monitor arm7_9 force_hw_bkpts enable

# needed for gdb 6.8 and higher
set mem inaccessible-by-default off

break main
the debugger does not go on starting at main-function, but does nothing than waiting.
Does somebody know where I make the mistakes or what I have to do else?

We are using AT91SAM9260 and debugging nicely ;-)

See here our scripts: ... DebugSetup
