32 bits Quadrature Decoder ???

Wed Sep 09, 2015 12:07 pm

Hi all,

I am searching for a 32 bits microcontroller with Flash of at least 1 MB, RAM of at least 256 KB, USB 2 (device), Ethernet, a clock frequency of at least 200 MHz, and quadrature decoder inputs. I found that the SAM V71 family meets all that requirements. Fortunately, I found that the Xplained Ultra development kit is based on a SAM V71 microcontroller. The problema I found is that the counter used to count the incremental encoder position is 16 bits long!!!!!!!!! I need a quadrature decoder timer of 32 bits at least. Does anyone know a SAM V71 like microcontroller having 32 bits timer/counters?

Best regards,
Ahmed.
