Power consumption in sleep (standby) mode (SAM R21)

Hi!

I am testing the Atmel SAM R21 on the Xplained Pro development board. According to Atmel one can achieve 2 µA to 20 µA. However, I always get currents greater than or equal to 450 µA. I measure the current at the current measurement connectors.

This is my simple test program:

You need to put the RF233 radio into sleep mode before going to sleep. Initialize the SPI port, put the radio into TRX_OFF mode, and then assert the SLP_TR line to put it to sleep.
