Differences between "callback" versus "polled" (ASF Wizard)

Fri Jun 27, 2014 11:41 am

Hi.
When running the ASF Wizard, a general selection option is often given: "callback" and "polled". I see callback-functions are connected to some sort of "automatic execution" (the address of a function is passed for "automatic execution at a later stage") of code/procedures. But whats the EXACT/generic differences between the two different methods ?
