switching to Applet modus disables usb driver

Thu Jul 18, 2013 12:00 pm

Hello,

This is my first post , hope i get good responses.

I have a sensor, designed by an external company that has an atmell cpu as proccesing core.

Right now i'm designing an upgrade procedure for this sensor. I've been able to connect to this sensor as a CDC device where it implements a limited SAMBA boot monitor.

To upgrade the sensor itself i first need to unlock specific memory by use of an applet. I was able to load this applet but (here's the issue Smile

The moment i execute the "Go" command (applet start), the sensors goes into "APPLET MODUS" and my usb driver detects this change and starts to unload the corresponding driver. Resulting in unloading usbser.dll and reloading my original driver (from the external company)

Is this normal behavior ? Has anyone had issue's like this ? I' building my application against windows compact 7. (So i'm able to change the usb code if necessary !)

Greetings !
