SAMA5D27 - High Resolution on PIT

Tue Aug 27, 2019 3:12 pm

Hello,

I'm using a SAM5D27C-D5M SiP and I have a question about the PIT: is there anyway to use the PIT as clocksource with a high resolution (lower than 1ms)?

I saw the a topic in this forum talking about it (viewtopic.php?t=27347), but it wasn't conclusive to me. I need the time counter block to another function, so I can't use the default configuration of sama5d2 for kernel.

Thanks in advance!

I'm using the kernel 4.9.98 with real-time patch 76, as full real-time.

By configuring the mainline kernel, AFAIK no.
