Incompatible u-boot environment (at91-sama5d27_som1_ek)

Thu Jan 17, 2019 12:02 pm

Using Yocto 'sumo' for at91-sama5d27_som1_ek
When you bitbake atmel-qt5-demo-image following the provided instructions [1], you generate a SD image in the file atmel-qt5-demo-image-sama5d27-som1-ek-sd.wic.
Unfortunately such image has a wrong u-boot environment because bootcmd uses at91-sama5d27_som1_ek.dtb but in the FAT partition you have sama5d27_som1_ek.itb.

I wonder how to correct this.
Is it good to replace the settings in u-boot include/configs/sama5d27_som1_ek.h or you have a better idea?

Code: Select all

=> ver

... same here, unfortunately I also don't get the video running when manually editing the bootcmd to boot the itb.
Can someone tell what to do to get a kind of an "own-built" qt5-demo-image as it can be downloaded?
This would be needed as a starting point for some POC-Tests.

Maybe someone has already gotten video to work with a custom build?

Best Regards and Thanks in Advance.
