SPI delay between two bytes

Mon Dec 04, 2017 7:08 am

I am using at91sam9x35 with 3.6.9 kernel , i want to transfer data to spi slave with max speed .
For Same I have configure spi for 66Mhz but it generates 45Mhz clk. So 22ns clk is observed on oscilloscope . But the actual problem is i have saw 80ns delay between two bytes.
How can i remove this delay, is this linux caused delay or processor specific delay?
Also i want to know that can i configure spi in slave mode?
what is max clk frequency i can set for spidev master/slave?
