Problem with sam-ba tool after J-Link FW-Update

Thu Apr 06, 2017 5:25 pm

Hej

When starting the actual sam-ba for linux I got the following error:

Code: Select all

./sam-ba_64
-I- Waiting ...
-I- TCL platform : Linux
-I- SAM-BA CDC 2.16 on : linux
-I- Connection : /dev/ttyACM0 (target(comType) = 0)
-I- Board : at91sama5d3x-ek
-I- Traces Level : 4
-I- target(handle) : file5
-I- sourcing board description file /home/user/tmp/tcl_lib/at91sama5d3x-ek/at91sama5d3x-ek.tcl
Read device Chip ID at 0xFFFFEE40 --- get 0xffffffff8a5c07c2
-I- Found chip : at91sama5d3x (Chip ID : 0xffffffff8a5c07c2)
-I- Loading applet applet-lowlevelinit-sama5d3x.bin at address 0x308000
^C
The loading of the applet seems to fail. This is the same error I get on windows.

I am using the SAMA5D3x-MB eval board + the SAMA5D35-CM module.

Before I installed the actual Segger J-Link tools(https://www.segger.com/downloads/jlink). I was ask for a FW-Update of the J-Link. I done this. Think this seems to break the tools.

Any ideas?
